Statement

“Every photograph is a distortion of reality. We do not see the world in two-dimensions, nor does time stand still. We never see the world in black and white, and yet we often accept it in photography as an accurate representation of the world."

"The beauty of photography or art in general, is that we get to challenge the eye of the viewer with exciting ways to look at the world. Some images posture the truth and others  embrace the distortion between reality and fantasy.  My work here seeks the latter, in these images, I use the distortion of light, water, perspective and colour. I then took these camera-based images and further distort them by using them as prompts in generative AI."
